Body - Power Windows are Inoperative: Overview

DESCRIPTION

On some vehicles, the power windows may become inoperative due to a blown 30A power window circuit fuse. Performing the repair procedure in this Service Bulletin will increase the power window circuit capacity from 30A to 40A.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

NOTE:
To complete this repair, the following components are required (refer to Parts Information table for part numbers):

^ 1 - Wire Harness Repair Kit

^ 1 - Rear Sliding Door Contact (RH - B-Pillar)

^ 1 - Rear Sliding Door Contact (LH - B-Pillar)

^ 2 - Rear Sliding Door Contacts (Sliding Door)

^ 1 - 40A fuse

^ Electrical tape
