Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation 1.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2.
Remove the upper steering column shroud.
3.
Remove the screws and the lower steering column shroud.
4.
Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
5.
Using a small tool, depress the ignition lock cylinder release button and pull the ignition lock cylinder out.
6.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
