Evaporator Core: Testing and Inspection

EVAPORATOR INSPECTION

1. Remove the evaporator from the cooling unit. (See COOLING UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY.)
2. Check for cracks, damage, and oil leakage. If any are found, replace the evaporator.
3. Check for bent fins. If any are bent, use a flathead screwdriver to straighten them.
