Transaxle Range Switch Inspection

TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the battery component.
3. Remove the fresh-air duct, air cleaner component.
4. Disconnect the transaxle range switch connector.





5. Remove the transaxle range switch.
6. Shift the transaxle into N position.
7. Install the transaxle range switch on the manual lever shaft.
8. Hand tighten the two mounting bolts.





9. Use the SST to align the switch on the shaft and case.
10. Tighten the two mounting bolts.
Tightening torque 11 - 13 Nm (112 - 133 kgf-cm, 97 - 115 inch lbs.)
11. Connect the transaxle range switch connectors
12. Install the air cleaner component, fresh-air duct.
13. Install the battery component.
14. Connect the negative battery cable.
