8-Hour Timer Bypass Procedure

NOTE: When 8-hour-timer is bypassed, PCM may misdiagnose the EVAP system if fuel temperature is warm. It is important to cool down the fuel tank as much as possible during the shortened soak period.

1. Connect WDS or equivalent and turn the ignition to ON.
2. Access to Clearing/Resetting emission-related malfunction information function to reset the 8-hour-timer.
3. Leave the ignition key to ON position.
4. Follow the drive mode procedure.
