Keyless Entry Module: Service and Repair

KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.




2. Remove in the order indicated below.
1. keyless control module connector
2. Nut
3. Keyless control module

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY




1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
1. Screw
2. Bracket
(See Bracket Disassembly Note)
(See Bracket Assembly Note)
3. Keyless control module

2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

1. To disassemble the bracket, push the stopper down with a small screwdriver.

Bracket Assembly Note

1. Assemble the bracket to the keyless control module until it locks.
