Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

CRUISE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine cover.




3. Remove in the order indicated below.
1. Cover
2. Actuator cable
(See ACTUATOR CABLE REMOVAL)
(See ACTUATOR CABLE INSTALLATION)
3. Nut
4. Connector
5. Screw
6. Bracket
7. Short cord
(See Short Cord Installation Note)
8. Cruise actuator

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Short Cord Installation Note




1. Install the connector of the short cord to the bracket.
