Shift Interlock Control Module: Testing and Inspection

SHIFT-LOCK UNIT INSPECTION [SPORT AT]
1. Remove the shift-lock unit.
2. Connect the shift-lock unit connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON position.

4. Measure the voltage at each shift lock unit terminal and refer to the terminal voltage table.
^ If not as specified, inspect the parts listed under "Action" and the related wiring harness.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the shift-lock unit.





Inspection Using An Oscilloscope (Reference) Engine speed signal
^ Terminal: G(+) - P(-)
^ Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 100 ms/DIV(X), DC range
^ Vehicle condition: Drive the vehicle with 10 km/h (6.2 mph).
