Front Seat Disassembly/Assembly

FRONT SEAT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

WARNING: Handling the front seat (side air bag) improperly can accidently deploy the side air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS before handling the front seat.

1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Driver's Seat (Normal Seat)

1. Remove the screw.
2. Lift the side cover up in the direction shown by the arrow, then unhook it from the recliner knuckle.

1. Insert a tape-wrapped screwdriver as shown in the figure, and pull up to remove the clips.
