Front Seat
FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONWARNING: Handling the front seat (side air bag) improperly can accidentally deploy the side air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS before handling the front seat.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for more than 1 minute.
3. Remove in the order indicated below.
1. Side air bag module connector
2. Buckle switch connector
3. Front seat
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
Side cover removal note
1. Remove the screw.
2. Lift the side cover up in the direction shown by the arrow, then unhook it from the recliner knuckle.
Switch bezel disassembly note
1. Insert a tape-wrapped screwdriver as shown in the figure, and pull up to remove the clips.
Seat cushion frame disassembly note
1. Remove the bands.
Slide adjuster disassembly note
1. Disconnect the connectors.
