Oil Separator: Service and Repair

CRANKCASE VENT OIL SEPARATOR - 2.0L

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the three way catalytic converter. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER.




2. Remove the crankcase vent oil separator.
1. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve.
2. Remove the bolts and remove the separator.

NOTE: The oil separator sealing surfaces are soft metal.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
1. Carefully clean all sealing surfaces and install a new crankcase vent oil separator gasket.
