Note:
^ First and second gear synchronizer shown; other synchronizers are similar.
Note:
^ Prior to disassembly, note the position of the index marks.
1. Disassemble the synchronizer assembly.
1. Remove the synchronizer blocking springs.
2. Remove the synchronizer hub inserts.
3. Separate the synchronizer hub from the sleeve.
2. Inspect all synchronizer components for wear and damage.

Note:
^ Align the index marks during assembly.
1. Assemble the synchronizer.
1. Position the synchronizer hub and sleeve together.
2. Install the synchronizer hub inserts.
3. Install the synchronizer blocking springs.
