POWER TAKE OFF UNIT-3.0L DURATEC (4V)

Installation





Caution:
^ A new power take off (PTO) unit driven gear seal must be installed any time the power take off (PTO) unit is removed.

Note:
^ If necessary, replace the RH differential fluid seal.

1. Install the power take off (PTO) unit.
1. Install the bolts.





2. Install the bolt.





3. Install the bracket and the six bolts.
4. Install the RH exhaust manifold.





5. Install the flex pipe and connect the hanger.





6. Install the gasket and the nuts.





7. Install the gasket and the nuts.





8. Connect the flexible Y-pipe to the exhaust manifold and install the two nuts.
9. Connect the RH catalyst monitor sensor.
10. Install the generator.





11. Install the crossmember brace and the four bolts.
12. Check the power take off (PTO) unit fluid level.
13. Install the driveshaft.
14. Connect the battery ground cable.
15. Check the transaxle fluid level.
