Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Testing and Inspection
AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION 1.
Measure the temperature around the ambient temperature sensor.
2.
Measure the resistance between terminals of the ambient temperature sensor.

If the resistance is not as shown in the graph, replace the ambient temperature sensor.
