Power Sliding Door (PSD) Drive Module

POWER SLIDING DOOR (PSD) DRIVE MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Open both rear door glasses fully.
2. Open both sliding doors.
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
4. Remove the rear side trim.
5. Remove the rear speaker as necessary.
6. Remove the rear A/C unit (RH only).




7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Cable End Removal Note




1. While pulling the front cable tube fully, pull the adjustment hook.
2. Open the sliding door.




3. Remove the rear cable end according to the following procedure.
1. draw the rear cable From the center guide rail.
2. Remove the rear cable end from the center roller.

Front Cable End Removal Note




1. Open the sliding door as shown in the figure.
2. Remove the front cable end according to the following procedure.
1. Draw the front cable from the center guide rail.
2. Pull the front cable end down from the center roller.
3. While slightly lifting up the sliding door, remove the front cable end from the center roller.

PSD Drive Module Installation Note






NOTE: When installing a new PSD drive module, do not remove the tension remover bracket before installing the front and rear cable end.

Front Cable End Installation Note

1. Draw the front cable outside of the compartment by passing it through the pulley installation holes, then install the front pulley.




2. While slightly lifting up the sliding door, install the front cable end as shown in the figure.

Rear cable End Installation Note

1. Draw the rear cable outside of the compartment by passing them through the pulley installation holes, then install the rear pulley.
2. Install the rear cable end to the center roller.




3. While pulling the front cable tube fully, insert the adjustment hook.




4. Cut the tape and pull the cord to release the tension remover bracket from the PSD drive module.
