Quarter Window Glass: Service and Repair
QUARTER WINDOW GLASS REMOVAL1. Remove the C-pillar trim.
2. Remove the D-pillar trim.
3. Remove the screws and nuts, and remove the quarter window glass.
4. Remove the screw, and remove the lock from the glass.
NOTE: The quarter window molding is a replacement part.
5. Remove the quarter window molding from the quarter window glass.
QUARTER WINDOW GLASS INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Keep the area free of dirt and grease, and do not touch the surface or the primer may not properly bond to the surface of the molding, which may cause leaks to occur.
1. Apply primer to the edge of the quarter window glass and the inside of the quarter window molding, and allow the primer to dry for approximately 30 minutes.
2. Apply sealant to the inside of the quarter window molding.
3. Fit the quarter window molding onto the glass.
4. Install the screws, and install the lock.
5. Install the screws and nuts, and install the quarter window glass.
6. Install the D-pillar trim.
7. Install the C-pillar trim.
