Front Seat Disassembly/Assembly

FRONT SEAT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

WARNING: Handling the front seat (with a side air bag) improperly can accidentally deploy the side air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS before handling the front seat (with a side air bag).

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for more than 1 minute.
2. Remove the side air bag module.
3. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
4. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
















Lumber support lever disassembly note






1. Remove the pin from the lumber support lever installation part with rag.

Side cover disassembly note






1. Remove the screws.
2. Disengage clips A.
3. Lift the side cover up in the direction of the arrow, then unhook it from slide adjuster.
