Tailgate Lock Remote Control

TAILGATE LOCK REMOTE CONTROL REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

1. Remove the tailgate access cover.
2. Open the tailgate lock rod retainer.
3. Disconnect the tailgate lock rods from the remote control.




4. Remove in order shown in figure.
1. Nuts
2. Handle
3. Remote control

NOTE: Prior to installation, remove the slack in the tailgate lock release links by pulling the tailgate lock release links to the center of the tailgate. Close the plastic clip over the thread of the tailgate latch release links.

5. Install in reverse order of removal.
