Air Door: Service and Repair

AIR INLET DUCT DOOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

1. Remove the plenum chamber.




2. Remove the screws from the air inlet duct door vacuum control motor and disconnect the vacuum hose.

Tightening Torque: 2 - 3 N.m {20 - 30 kgf.cm, 18 - 26 in.lbf}.

3. Rotate the vacuum control motor up, disengage the lever and remove the vacuum control motor.
4. Remove the screws and remove the air inlet duct cover.

Tightening Torque: 2 - 3 N.m {20 - 30 kgf.cm, 18 - 26 in.lbf}.

5. Remove the pin and remove the air inlet duct door.
- Lubricate all hoses and fittings.

6. Install in reverse order of removal.
