Oil Filter: Service and Repair

OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT - 3.0L
1. Remove the oil filter.
2. Clean the cylinder block mating surface.
3. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the oil gasket of the new filler.
4. Install the oil filter and tighten it by hand until the oil gasket contacts the mounting base.
5. Tighten the filter 1/2 turn.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks.
7. Check oil level and add if necessary.
