Starter Motor: Service and Repair

STARTER MOTOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise vehicle and support with safety stands. See JACKING.




3. Remove the bolts and lower the starter motor.
4. Remove the cap.




5. Remove the terminal nuts and remove the starter motor.
6. To install, reverse order of removal.
