Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.




2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE: A new vapor line assembly must be installed for a new pressure sensor to be installed.

3. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor and fuel line assembly.
4. Install in reverse order of removal.
5. Perform Leak Test. See EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK TEST.
6. Perform the Evaporative Emission Running Loss Monitor Repair Verification Drive Cycle Test. See DRIVE CYCLES.
