LIFTGATE ADJUSTMENT




1. Measure the gap and height between the liftgate and the body.
- If not as specified, loosen the liftgate hinge installation bolts or the liftgate striker installation screws, and reposition the liftgate. (See LIFTGATE REMOVAL/ INSTALLATION.) (See LIFTGATE LOCK STRIKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

a: 6.8 - 9.8 mm {0.27 - 0.38 in}
b: -2-5 - 0 mm {-0.09 - 0 in}
c: 3.5 - 7.5 mm {0.14 - 0.29 in}
d: -3.0 - 1.0 mm {-0.11 - 0.03 in}
e: 3.5 - 7.5 mm {0.14 - 0.29 in}
f: -3.7 - 0.3 mm {-0.14 - 0.01 in}
g: 4.5 - 9.5 mm {0.18 - 0.37 in}

2. Tighten the bolts or screws.
