PINPOINT TEST 1: NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB)

Normal Operation
The SJB receives voltage from the battery junction box (BJB) on circuit (DG) and is grounded through circuit (B/W). The SJB communicates interactively with the WDS or equivalent tester and other modules on the international standards organization (ISO) 9141 communication network, circuit (LB/W).

Possible Causes
- fuse(s)
- circuit (B/W) open
- circuit (DG) open or short to ground
- SJB

CAUTION: Use the correct probe adaptor(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adaptor(s) may damage the connector.
