PINPOINT TEST 1: THE WIPERS ARE INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the multifunction switch is grounded through circuit (B). Voltage is supplied to the run/park relay coil and switch through circuit (R). When the SJB commands the wipers ON, ground is provided to the run/park relay coil through circuit (Y/W). When the run/park relay is energized, voltage is sent from the run/park relay to the high/low relay through circuit (B/P). Voltage is passed through the high/low relay to the wiper motor. Ground for the wiper motor is provided through circuit (B).

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- An open in circuit (B/P), (B), (Y/W) or (R)
- A short to voltage in circuit (Y/W)
- Wiper high/low relay
- Wiper run/park relay
- Wiper motor
- Multi-function switch
- Smart junction box (SJB)
