COOLANT FLUSHING
Engine and Radiator Flushing

Warning:
^ Do not open the cooling system while it is hot or while the engine is running.

1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the thermostat.
3. Install the thermostat housing without the thermostat.

Note:
^ See the cooling system flusher manufacture's operating instructions for specific vehicle hook-up. Use an appropriate cooling system flusher to flush the engine and radiator.

4. Use Premium Cooling System Flush VC-1.
5. Install the thermostat.
6. Back flush the heater core.
7. Fill the cooling system.

Heater Core
1. Partially drain the cooling system.

Note:
^ See the cooling system flusher manufacturer's operating instructions for specific vehicle hook-up. Use an appropriate cooling system flusher to back flush the heater core.

2. Use Premium Cooling System Flush VC-1.
3. Fill the cooling system.
