Pinpoint Test 1

PINPOINT TEST 1: THE IGNITION SWITCH IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
Fused battery voltage is supplied to the ignition switch from battery junction box (EJB) fuse 9 (40 A) along circuit (Y). The ignition switch has 4 possible states:
- OFF
- ACC
- RUN
- START

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit open
- Ignition switch

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
