Control Module: Service and Repair

TRANSFER CASE SHIFT CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION








1. Remove the audio unit.
^ Insert the removal tool.
^ Remove and support the audio unit.





2. Disconnect the audio unit electrical connector and antenna cable.





3. Remove the screws. Disengage the spring clips.
^ Remove the instrument panel finish panel.
4. Remove the 4X4 control module.
1) Disengage the locking tangs and remove the harness connectors.
2) Remove the screws.
3) Remove the 4X4 control module.
5. Install in reverse order of removal.
