Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Service and Repair

LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [5-DOOR, SPORT WAGON]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the liftgate upper trim.
3. Remove the liftgate side trim.
4. Remove the liftgate lower trim.
5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
