Normal Operation
The driver door lock control switch is grounded on circuit (B) is grounded on circuit (B/W). The door lock control switches supply a ground signal to the SJB. When the SJB receives a door lock control switch lock command through circuit (P/W), it supplies voltage to the door lock actuators through circuit (P/B), while grounding circuit (P/O) and circuit (R/O) to lock all the doors. When the SJB receives a door lock control switch unlock command through circuit (P/W), it supplies voltage to the door lock actuators through circuit (P/O) and circuit (R/O), while grounding circuit (P/B) to unlock all the doors.
Possible Causes
- circuit (B) open
- circuit (B/W) open
- circuit (P/W) shorted to ground or open
- door lock control switch
