Step 6:
Normal Operation
The door lock control switches supply a ground signal to the SJB. When the SJB receives a door lock control switch lock command through circuit (P/W), it supplies voltage to the door lock actuators through circuit (P/B), while grounding circuit (P/O) and circuit (R/O) to lock all the doors. When the SJB receives a door lock control switch unlock command through circuit (P/W), it supplies voltage to the door lock actuators through circuit (P/O) and circuit (R/O), while grounding circuit (P/B) to unlock all the doors.
Possible Causes
- SJB DTC B1396 doors - lock all relay circuit coil short to battery
- SJB DTC B1397 other doors - unlock all relay coil circuit short to battery
- SJB DTC B1983 drivers door - unlock relay coil circuit short to battery
- circuit 117 short to ground or short to voltage
- circuit 118 short to ground or short to voltage
- circuit 163 short to ground or short to voltage
- SJB
