DRIVER SEAT






Removal

NOTE:
- The driver seat is shown, the passenger seat is similar.
- The power seat is shown, the manual seat is similar.

1. Position the front seats forward.
2. Depower the SRS.






3. Remove the seat track-to-floor nuts.
4. Position the driver seat rearward.
5. If equipped with power seats, disconnect the negative battery cable.






CAUTION: Use care when handling the seat and track assembly. Dropping the assembly or sitting on a seat not secured in the vehicle may result in damaged components.

6. Remove the driver seat.
1. Remove the seat track-to-floor bolts.
2. Remove the driver seat, If equipped with power seats, disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation

NOTE: If a side air bag deployment took place, a new seatback pad, trim cover, and side air bag module must be installed. A new seatback frame should be installed if necessary.






CAUTION: Use care when handling the seat and track assembly. Dropping the assembly or sitting on a seat not secured in the vehicle may result in damaged components.

1. Install the driver seat.
1. Position the driver seat, if equipped with power seats, connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the seat track to floor bolts.

2. If equipped with power seats, connect the battery ground cable.
3. Position the driver seat forward.






4. Install the seat track to floor nuts.
5. Repower the SRS.
