FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR AND SENSOR RING








Removal and Installation

Note: On all vehicles the front sensor ring is integral to the front axle halfshaft.

1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the front wheel and tire assembly.

Note: The harness connector is located in the engine compartment.

3. Disconnect the harness electrical connector.





4. Release the grommet from the body and pull the connector through.





5. Release the sensor harness retainer.





Note: Clean the area surrounding the wheel speed sensor and bolt before removal.

6. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt.

Note: Thoroughly clean the wheel speed sensor and wheel speed sensor mounting surface.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
