Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the brake pedal position (BPP) switch.
3. On speed-control equipped vehicles, remove the cruise control deactivator switch.
4. Remove the brake booster pushrod pin redundant clip.
5. Remove the brake pedal self-locking pin.
6. Remove the brake pushrod outer bushing.
7. Disconnect the brake booster pushrod and position aside.
8. Remove the brake pedal bracket upper bolt.
9. Remove the brake pedal bracket upper nut.
10. Remove the brake booster nuts.

Note:
^ Position the brake booster forward to allow the brake pedal assembly to clear the brake booster studs.

11. Remove the brake pedal and bracket.
12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
