BRAKE PADS - REAR

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the brake caliper guide bolts.

Caution: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang by the flexible brake hose.

Note: It is not necessary to remove the flexible brake hose.

2. Remove the brake caliper and support the caliper to the vehicle.
3. Remove the brake pads.

Note: If installing new brake pads, remove brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir using a suitable suction device until the reservoir is half full.

4. If installing new brake pads, fully retract the brake caliper pistons.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Lubricate the brake caliper guide bolts with silicone grease.
