Water Pump: Service and Repair

WATER PUMP - 2.31L





Removal and Installation
1. Drain the engine cooling system.
2. Remove the accessory drive belt.





3. Remove the water pump pulley.





4. Remove the bolts and the water pump. Remove and discard the water pump O-ring seal.

Note:
^ Clean and inspect the sealing surfaces.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Install a new O-ring seal.
