Pinpoint Test 4

PINPOINT TEST 4: THE HAZARD FLASHER LAMPS ARE ALWAYS ON

Step 1 - 3:

Normal Operation
The SJB sends a reference signal to the hazard switch through circuit (R/W). When the hazard switch is pressed, the voltage signal is routed to ground through circuit (B/W). When the SJB detects a hazard lamps request, the SJB sends voltage to all the turn lamps. The timed on/off cycle is determined in the SJB and is set to flash approximately 80 times per minute if all hazard lamps operate correctly.

Possible Causes
- circuit (R/W) short to ground
- hazard switch
- SJB
