Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

IGNITION SWITCH LOCK CYLINDER

Caution: Do not remove the ignition lock. cylinder and the ignition switch at the same time or damage to the column can result.





Removal and Installation



1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.





3. Using a small tool, press the ignition lock cylinder release button and pull the ignition lock cylinder out.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
