2006 TRIBUTE - WINDSHIELD WASHER INOPERATIVE - HOSE DISCONNECTED

2006 Tribute vehicles built from 8/12/2005 through 9/30/2005

DESCRIPTION

Some vehicles may exhibit an inoperative front or rear windshield washer and/or windshield washer fluid leaks when activated. This is most likely due to a washer hose that has become disconnected.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify concern.

2. safely lift vehicle on hoist.

3. Remove right front wheel and tire assembly.

4. Remove right front fender splash shield.

5. Inspect windshield washer hoses located above splash shield.





6. If either hose has become disconnected, replace it with a modified part.

7. Verify repair.
