Shift Cable: Service and Repair

SELECTOR LEVER CABLE





Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the console top finish panel.
3. Disconnect the shift cable.
4. Release the shift cable retainer.





5. Disconnect the shift cable.





6. Disconnect the gearshift cable adjuster from the bracket.
7. Remove the 2 cable to dash panel nuts and the cable.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Adjust the shift cable.
