SELECTOR LEVER

Removal and Installation





1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the console top finish panel.
3. Disconnect the shift cable.





4. Release the shift cable retainer.





5. Remove the set screw.





6. Disconnect the overdrive switch electrical connector.

Caution: Make sure the plastic straw inside of the lever does not come out.





7. Remove the knob assembly with the shroud by pulling upward.





8. Remove the bulb from the bezel by turning it clockwise.





9. Carefully pry up the four bezel clips, remove the bezel.





10. Cut the manual override tie strap.





11. Remove the four bolts and the gearshift lever
12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
