Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor
OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED (OSS) SENSORRemoval and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the seven retainers and the LH splash shield.
3. Remove the OSS sensor.
1. Output shaft speed sensor electrical connector
2. Output shaft speed sensor retaining bolt
3. Output shaft speed sensor assembly
Note: Inspect the O-ring seal for nicks or cuts. Install a new seal as necessary.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
