Pinpoint Test 9

PINPOINT TEST 9: THE DELAYED ACCESSORY IS INOPERATIVE/DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY

Step 1 - 3:

Step 4:

Normal Operation
The BJB fuse 1 (25 A) supplies voltage to the SJB fuse 4 (10 A) on circuit (Y). The accessory delay relay receives voltage from the SJB fuse 4 (10 A) for the coil side and receives voltage from the BJB fuse 19 (40 A) on circuit (B/LG) for the switch side. The SJB controls the coil side ground of the accessory delay relay. The SJB activates the accessory delay relay when the ignition switch is in the ON position. The accessory delay relay will remain active for an additional 10 minutes when the ignition switch is in the OFF position or until the drivers door is opened. Accessory delay components receive voltage on circuit (R/LB).

Possible Causes
- circuit (B/LG) open
- accessory delay relay
- SJB
