DESCRIPTION

Some vehicles may exhibit a seat that shakes back and forth and is noisy during braking.

Customers having these concerns should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer complaint and that seat is pantograph type seat lifter (A).

2. Install three (3) springs to the back of the seat cushion seat pan (C) and pipe frame (B).

RX-8, Mazda5 & Mazda6:

The shape of the spring varies depending on the seat type.

The hooks of this type of spring vary depending on which side the hooks fit to.
