Malfunction Lamp / Indicator: Service and Repair

PASSENGER AIR BAG DEACTIVATION (PAD) INDICATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the following parts:
1. Front scuff plate inner.
2. Front side trim.
3. Side panel.
4. Side wall.
5. Front console.
6. Glove compartment.
7. Center panel module.
8. Climate control unit (with car-navigation system).
9. Car-navigation unit (with car-navigation system).
10. Dashboard center panel.
11. Passenger-side air bag module.
12. Dashboard garnish.

4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.






5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
