Pinpoint Test 5: DTCs C1095 and C1096-ABS Hydraulic Pump Motor Circuit Failure/Open

PINPOINT TEST 5: DTCS C1095 AND C1096-ABS HYDRAULIC PUMP MOTOR CIRCUIT FAILURE/OPEN

Normal Operation
The operating voltage required to run the hydraulic pump motor is between 10 and 17 volts. Fused battery voltage, for the hydraulic pump motor, is supplied to the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module from battery junction box (BJB) fuse 17 (40A) along circuit (R). Ground for the hydraulic pump motor is provided through the ABS module along circuit (B).

Possible Causes
^ BJB fuse 17 (40A)
^ Circuit open
^ Circuit shorted
^ Hydraulic control unit
^ ABS module

Caution:
^ Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do, not use standard multimeter probes.
