Oil Filter: Service and Repair

OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the oil fitter from the oil adapter.
2. Clean the cylinder block mating surface.
3. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the oil gasket of the new finer.
4. Install the oil filter and tighten it by hand until the oil gasket contacts the adapter.
5. Tighten the filter 1/2 turn.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks.
7. Check oil level and add if necessary.
