Voltage Converter: Description and Operation

DC/DC CONVERTER
The DC/DC converter converts high voltage (330 volt) battery power to low voltage (13.5 volt) battery power.
- The DC/DC converter is located near the right side shock tower.
- The low voltage power is used for vehicle systems and recharging of the 12 volt storage battery.
- The DC/DC converter is PCM controlled.
- The maximum output of the DC/DC converter is 110 amps at 12 volts.
- The DC/DC converter is cooled, along with the eCVT, by the MECS cooling system.
