BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONWarning
^ Use of any other than approved DOT 3 motor vehicle brake fluid will cause permanent damage to brake components and will render the brakes inoperative. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

Caution
^ Brake fluid is harmful to painted and plastic surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately wash it with water.
1. Disconnect the flexible hose fitting from the wheel cylinder.
^ To install, tighten to 15 N-m (1.5 kgf-m, 11 ft-lbf).
2. Remove the brake flexible hose bracket bolt.
^ To install, tighten to 17 N-m (1.7 kgf-m, 13 ft-lbf).
3. Disconnect the brake tube fitting from the brake flexible hose.
^ To install, tighten to 15 N-m (1.5 kgf-m, 11 ft-lbf).
4. Remove the flexible hose clip and the brake hose.
^ To install, tighten to 15 N-m (1.5 kgf-m, 11 ft-lbf).
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Bleed the brake system.
