PINPOINT TEST 6: THE COURTESY LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE - FROM THE DIMMER SWITCH

Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) monitors the dimmer switch status on circuit (BR) to determine if the courtesy lamps are requested. Based on the dimmer switch status, the SJB supplies voltage to the courtesy lamps through circuit (GY/V).

Possible Causes
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Dimmer switch
- SJB

Diagnostic Procedure

CAUTION: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.

NOTE: Make sure the interior lamp switches are in the DOOR position.
